Return & Refund Policies (Terms & Conditions of sale)
1. Please examine your order as soon as it arrives. A claim must be initiated ASAP but no later than first business day after delivery. Any issues not reported within the next business day of delivery date cannot be adjusted or credited.
2. If there is damage or defects please email the details and attach pictures to support the problem to PetsWarehouse@gmail.com.
If a claim must be filed with the carrier they require pictures. Failure to provide pictures will not allow us to file a claim and make any adjustments to you.
3. If the wrong item sent, email us and include the sku numbers located on the item. Email PetsWarehouse@gmail.com to report an issue include your order number and details about the item(s) you would like to return. Note All Pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary. Order fulfillment is based on proct SKU #. Before returning, normally a pre-paid shipping label will be E-mailed to you. The order will replace the item at no cost to the buyer
4. If an item doesn't fit, you just don't like it, it doesn’t work for your application, no problem, we will accept a return for refund or exchange of your purchase (minus the shipping cost of the order to you).
The returned item(s) must be in unused condition and shipped back within 15 days of the date of receipt and received in their original packaging, unopened, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals etc. It is the buyers responsibility to pay the shipping costs of the return.
5. When your return is received, you will be issued a refund to your original method of payment which can take a few days.
6. If the item is damaged by FedEx or USPS, we issue a return label and ship a replacement upon receipt of return. The carrier may require inspection.
7. In the case of a delivery dispute such as a package was not received, proof of delivery by the carrier will be final.
8. We are not responsible for errors in shipping times or delays, we reserve the right to change carrier in the interest of expeditious or safe delivery.
9. When using the Amazon Pay option buyer agrees to follow all Pets Warehouse's Terms and conditions of sale.
If you refuse your delivery you will be responsible for all shipping costs and a restocking fee.
If the order contains live aquaria or frozen foods there will be no refunds.
Problems with merchandise after 30 days:
All merchandise we sell is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We will gladly assist you in contacting the manufacturer or we will do it for you so you are satisfied with your purchase. Simply Contact Us with your order number and details about the product.
Orders placed with PetsWarehouse.com will be processed immediately upon receipt, and can be shipped to the purchaser or held at the Copiague, Long Island NY, Pets Warehouse location for pick up. Most items will be shipped within two to seven days; however, circumstances, such as product availability for specific items, occasionally cause delays.
Pick up Instructions
Buyers will be notified by email or phone when an order is ready for pickup. Save shipping costs, and visit the Copiague store, which will have your pre-paid items ready to go!
Standard shipping within the continental United States will be via FedEx Ground Services or USPS (the post office). Shipping charges are based on actual weight and/or dimensions, and reflect the our discounted partner charges established by the carrier.
We will provide the quickest possible processing of your order; however, we reserve the right to change the shipping method on all items to obtain best available service and pricing.
Purchasers have the option to request expedite delivery. Not all of our 45,000 products in our inventory are available for expedited service; some items require special handling for delivery. Shipping costs will be reflected by these choices.
When Next or Second day air are requested, we will ship the product the first day it is available. Most orders ship out in 2-7 business days. (orders place after 3PM are considered placed the next day)
When you request next or second day air we will ship the product the first day it is available to us to ship to you. Therefore, requesting expedited shipping does not always mean the order will ship next day after the order is placed.
Items requiring special shipping:
Aquatic plants are shipped Monday thru Wednesday to your door via FedEx Next Day, Second Day Air or priority mail. No returns
Frozen orders are guaranteed to arrive in good condition when shipped Next or Second Day air. No returns
Shipping of fish tanks, cabinets and oversized orders are limited to specific carriers they must be shipped by common carrier or FedEx terminal truck freight. This is the most economical way to ship minimum shipping is $149.
Fish & Coral orders can arrive right to your door Next Day Shipping via FedEx. We ship Monday thru Thursday.
Please Note: Someone must be present to accept a deliver and sign for the shipment. We can ship to your home, office or other specified location where someone can accept delivery.
Shipping address error
If an order is returned due to a incorrect address entered by the customer additional re-shipping costs will apply.
