Standard Ground Shipping
Shipping charges for the continental US are based on actual weight or dimensions. Shipped FedEx or by Post office. Most orders ship out in 1 -7 days, depending on availability and order back log.
Next & Second Day Shipping
Not everyone of our 45,000 products in our inventory is available for expedited service.
When you request next or second day air we will ship the product the first day it is available to us to ship to you.
A tracking number will be e-mailed. Therefore, requesting expedited shipping does not always mean the order will ship next or second day after the order is placed
Aquatic plants Shipping
Aquatic plants are shipped on Mondays and Wednesdays to your door via Priority Mail, FedEx Next Day or Second Day Air.

Oversize Shipping heavy or large items
Shipping of fish tanks, FedEx will not ship glass tanks, some bird cages cannot be shipped by FedEx, they must be shipped by common carrier (a freight trucking company). Many time the shipping rate is more than the product.
Fish & Coral Shipping
Your order can arrive right to your door Next Day Shipping FedEx. We ship Monday thru Thursday. The standard box is 12x12x12 which can hold 2-4 medium size (3"-4") fish or coral depending on species or 2-30 small fish 1.5"-2". Larger orders are calculated off line for the best shipping rates. Acclimation instructions will be included.
Note! Someone must be there to sign for the shipment.
We can also ship to your office if there is no one home to accept delivery
Live Rock Shipping
Live Rock is shipped Ground or 2nd Day. 2nd day Air by FedEx to your door and ship Monday-Wednesday.
Return & Refund Policy

1. Please examine your order as soon as it arrives for any signs of defective, damaged or a wrong item(s) shipped.
All claims must be initiated no later than next business day after delivery.
Contact Us with your order number and details about the item(s) you would like to return before returning.
2. If an item doesn't fit, just don't like it or work for your application, we are not responsible for the costs of shipping the item to you or returning it, we will refund or credit your account for the item only not shipping.
3. All returns must be in original packaging & packing
4. In the case of Pets Warehouse shipping the incorrect item not being what you ordered we will replace the item; if the item is damaged by FedEx or USPS we will pay the cost of shipping for the replacement to you and the cost of returning the defective item if requested to Pets Warehouse after carrier inspection.
5. If the package was not received but the carrier provides proof of delivery the customer must file a claim with FedEx or USPS.
6. We are not responsible (or credit/refund) and do not warrant or guaranty the quality or suitability performance of a product for use with your pet or aquarium of any product we do not manufacturer.
Such issues should be addressed directly to the manufacturers under the terms of their guarantee/warranty, please contact the manufacturer for resolution.
7. Due to the nature of certain products, on-site repair by the customer might be required. In most cases, defective, damaged or missing parts will be sent to the customer to be repaired by the customer.
8. Any issues not reported within the next business day of delivery date cannot be adjusted or credited.
Canceling or Changing Orders
All cancellation requests must be submitted by e-mail within 24 hours from the time the order is placed. We understand that cancellations are an unfortunate part of shopping online. Sometimes the incorrect item is ordered, or you simply just had a change of heart. Therefore, we allow our customers up to 24 hours to cancel an order from the time it is placed. In the event of a cancellation of an order after the 24-hour grace period, or after the order status is updated to "Awaiting Shipment" the customer will be responsible for a cancellation or restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price as well as return shipping fees that may apply.
If you refuse your delivery you will be responsible for all shipping costs and restocking fee.
Problems with merchandise after 30 days:
All merchandise we sell is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We will gladly assist you in contacting the manufacturer or we will do it for you so you are satisfied with your purchase. Simply Contact Us with your order number and details about the product.
